Hi math lovers , I heard that there are certain programs that can help with us studying ,like a teacher substitute. Is this really true? Is there a software that can assist me with algebra ? I have never tried one before , but they shouldn't be hard to use I suppose . If anyone has such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Algebra 2 now, so I've been studying things like simple solutions + math workbook and it's not easy at all.

That is true , there are programs that can help you with lessons . I think there are a few types that help you solve algebra problems, but I heard that Algebrator stands out amongst them. I used the program when I was a student in Intermediate algebra for helping me with simple solutions + math workbook, and it always helped me out since then. Step by step I understood all the topics, and after a while I was able to solve the hardest of the exercises alone . Don't worry; you won't have any problem using it. It was designed for students, so it's very easy to use. Basically you just have to type in the keyword nothing more .Of course you should use it to learn algebra, not just copy the answers , because you won't learn that way.

I would just add a note to what has been posted above. Algebrator no doubt is the most useful tool one could have. Always use it as a guide and a means to learn and never to copy .

Algebrator is a user friendly product and is surely worth a try. You will also find quite a few interesting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can say that it has made learning math more enjoyable.
